The majority of people in leadership positions have not been trained for the job. Most companies and professional services firms hire people for their ability to contribute to the core business. Then, one day, they promote these people into leadership positions. My experience is that most of these people need and want help. I know I needed it when I was promoted to my first senior leadership position. I love to step in to assist in a variety of ways:

  • Use of Leadership Assessments to evaluate leadership strengths, challenges and opportunities to significantly enhance effectiveness as a leader through changes in behavior.

  • One-on-one coaching, because most leaders are lonely and need a mentor and confidant…a place where it is safe to “think out loud.”

  • Assist in getting out of the “weeds” of the business and think more strategically, followed by establishment of action plans to execute on significant initiatives.
